Welcome to twentyten

Well well well so it's the new year and post numero uno.

I have been meaning to do alot of catch-ups lately but really, I can't be bothered. Besides the fact that it's the new year now, clean slate.

So NYE was spent working, then went to Emily's roof for drinks with a bunch of people for drinks and 9:00 fireworks, then to this guy Elliot's roof for more drinks, and its 10:30. melanie has been heavily drinking since 7:30 (yes, not that long, but re-read the "heavily" part) and is passing out on the roof, so everyone decided to send me home. It was new years so I was like heck no, so after a mini pass out on the street I find a cab and set out to house party at rose bay. $40 later, a lot of babble on my part, alot of humoring on my taxi drivers, and the use of his mobile phone I find Bonnie and am there in plenty of time before the 12.00 fireworks. It gets to about 4am (maybe) and I decide it's time to go home after a little domestic with Bonnie and Axel, head home only to find a new friend at the Shell who I preceeded to drink with out the front of a closed pub till 6am the next morning. Talk about an epic night, many funny memories.

Mum and Pat came to stay with me for a week after Xmas, which by the way was very fun. I got home from Syd with Bon, in time for Nattas xmas eve party, alot of food and drink later its home to bed. Xmas day is spent at nattas again, great, pool, LOADS of food, way too much drink and 3 breakages later I'm banned from drinking out of glasses on boxing day. met my mums cousins new wife grace and her daughter joshie, who are from fiji, and the NICEST people ever. Have invited me to come over and stay this year. lets see if I can save and do it. Boxing day, mums bday, and the same crew and then some from xmas and boxing day are back over. talk about 3 day bender. me and matt manage to get through a carton of jim beam, and to myself conquered a 6 pack of canadian club and 3 bottles of champers. needless to say was tres messy, but had a blast drinking with all the boys. Gets to about 8pm and Bon arrives, ready to hit the town, so more drinking then we head to the irish pub in town where we run into cam, mick, drew, will, chris and the rest of the boys. had a great night catching up with all, and lloydy even made an appearance out! good times.

Anyway so back to mum and pat staying, had a great 8 days, completely revamped the flat, it looks so great, mum put so much into it and it really payed off. we did alot of shopping, saw avatar in 3D (AMAZING!!!!!) went to the beach and went out to dinner alot. liss and karen came to stay for 3 days at the end of the week and so it was a pretty full house. went to china town for dinner and had an outraegously overpriced and underwhelming meal, and then I was off to go out with emily. had drinks at her's and ended up having a very messy night at the usual places, brighton and oaf, met up with tia and mostly hung with her, in between meet and greets with the skater boys. headed home early that morning, about 6ish, and met up with sahal (this is the guy I was hanging out with on new years, who just so happens to live up the street with me) so i stayed over at his again which was good. They all left that tuesday, after some more intense shopping and a great breaky, and I was alone again.

2 days later simon came home, and the house has been buzzing with people since, its been great. him being away in thailand for a month meant home was VERY quiet.

thurs night I randomly went down to gordons bay at 1am with meow for a drinking sesh on the rocks - was seriosuly sooo nice. ended up getting through the better part of a goon bag and was completely trashed. had such great concersations though was really cool to hyang out with him, he has so much interesting things to say.
next morning we went and had brunch, well more afternoon tea, at a cafe in waverly which was nice, then i went home to sleep, was pooped.

went out on saturday, and a quiet night of not drinking ended up being something much bigger. spent the day at gordons bay with bon where some guys had set up decks in their mansion overlooking the bay and were pumping out the tunes, was heaps cool, then came home and chatted with the boys for a bit, then the propsal, then went to bons to get ready, saxons for drinks, then the gaslight with all the guys. turned out to be apretty big night, and i hardly spent any money thanks to the genorosity of a french man. walked into randwick junction from bons and met up with sahal and his friend, this is around 6am as usual haha, and me and sahal ended up going back to mine to hang out.

So thats this year so far, its been good. eventful, which is good.

I had a chance to be in a bluejuice music video in neutral bay yesterday, but had to pull out last min due to unforseen circumstances, sooo shattered. back to work tomorrow after 2 days off, and alot of the o.c. thurs im going vintage shopping with emily and shopping fri with bon, then last purple sneakers on fri night. sunday arvy im going home for 4 days (AND FINALLY GETTING MY NEW NOKIA E71!!!! phew, excitement), thurs im helping out at boundary sounds office woith press clippings, and fri is BDO!!!! so pretty busy schedule for the next 2 weeks, which is always good.

emily is moving into her new place in chippendale, a couple of streets over from her old place actually, at the end of the month, so that'll be exciting getting her all set up. iylia was going to live with her but that didnt work out for alot of reasons, so she wants me to move in. as much as i'd like to i really cant afford it at the moment, its $80 more a fortnight and doesnt include bills, so not really much of a better deal tahn i have here, even with a tres desireable location. we'll see what happens if i can get myself a full time job i guess.

anyway i guess thats really it. this ended up being a bit bigger than i thought, so much to say, as always, finally had the time to be able to write it.
